I was playing GTA IV yesterday night. I have to, everybody is doing it, can’t be the one who got left behind and have nothing to talk about in the office.
Now I was taking this girl whatshername on a first date to some spot at the end of a yellow line. Usually, when I go about my business in real life, I have no problem at all steering clear of lampposts, trucks, porches, and small pets. However, my game life driving skills are… well you can hardly call them skills… its more like bouncing off other objects while trying to keep the hood pointing in somewhat the right direction. So, while merrily bouncing about the streets, trying not to be distracted too much by whatshername’s continuous yapping, I suddenly slammed into a police car taking a left turn.
Turns out I’m dating a virtual comedian as she cries out: “I hope the cops didn’t see that.”
Brilliant joke or dumb coincidence? Well, it made me chuckle.
